No more Small World; changes in the Fugate Cairo life
It has been a couple of active past two weeks; not only did we attend Christmas parties, belt tests and musical concerts, but we also managed to arrange for our floors to finally have a make-over, retrieve new couches from the university housing services and contact the softball/tee-ball association here in Maadi to find out if it would be possible for the boys and maybe even Courtney to play next year. We also made friends with some other homeschooling families, and I told the Montessori style pre-school the boys have been attending this semester, that they will not be coming back after the holidays. It has been very helpful to have those couple of mornings every week to get things arranged and settled in it the term’s broadest sense (sometimes I had lunch with girlfriends to establish new friendships – I think you could call that getting settled in?), but now I am, and certainly the boys are, ready to take on homeschooling full time.

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
