The husband's return to Cairo, Egypt
My husband arrived back home with a suitcase full of wet clothes on
Monday morning. Hong Kong had been not only extremely hot and humid, but it had also rained most of the time he had been there. In all the pictures, his shirt is wet, sticking to his body, and his hair looks like that of a drowned cat. Apart from this little nuisance however, it had been a good trip. The paper went well, he met interesting, good people, fellow philosophers, and had a couple of great days exploring the city, the food, the culture, etc. To everyone’s delight, he also brought nice gifts back with him; a couple of toys for the boys, food items, including various pork products, and a silk purse for me, which I had not expected. Isn’t it pretty?
Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
