the right size for his age, and everything looked great. The ultra sound technician, a veiled woman, quickly ran by the baby's genitals again, confirming that it’s a boy; she did it as fast as she could with flushed cheeks, which was a little funny. Even an unborn male was able to intimidate her. My blood pressure is still high – as it always has been – but as long as it doesn’t change, I’m staying away from meds. It’s nice to see the baby is all right; it’s nice to hear his heart beat and see him move. The biggest enjoyment though actually came when we got home and took a closer look at the ultra sound lab report. As you might suspect, people here sometimes struggle with English, but when it comes to medical forms and other material produced by highly educated - often abroad - people, there are in general few obvious mistakes. Our ultra sound lab report had one though, not only obvious mistake, but also hilarious - see the circled section on what I assume is supposed to be the amount of amniotic fluid (to preserve some kind of privacy, I've blotted out a few numbers). No wonder the baby looked so happy! He's all sauced up!

Hi Jennifer!
I don't know if you've found out yet but liquor is the actual term they use for the amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. I don't know why but I've seen in online on several ultrasounds.
Just thought I'd let you know.
Your family is adorable!
Regards,
Jennifer, too!
