The boys learned how to swing in Egypt

During our first playground visit in Egypt, August suddenly, after what seemed like years of trying, finally figured out how to swing. Today, a couple of weeks later, it was William's turn.

If you are a mother, you will be or will have been asked a million times "please, can you push me?" whenever there are swings in your presence, and after a million times of this, well, it gets ardous. Hence it was a great joy and relief to see William finally swing alongside August all by himself.

"Now you can go stand in the shade, mama!" William yelled out to me with a proud and happy face. "Yes, I can, baby, yes, I can."

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
