William and his funny ways

William and August were waiting for their friends across the hall to come knock on our door. August was playing with Abraham in the meantime, but William was just laying on the couch, looking at some pirate hat. “William, why don’t you do something while you wait?” I suggested. “I AM doing something,” he said with a mellow voice, “I’m playing a game with this hat to see who can be quiet the longest.” Courtney and I looked at each other; William is being his unintentionally amusing self again, and Courtney concluded, “…and completely without a hint of humor in the voice.” Then he turned to William and asked “Who’s winning?” to which William answered, still completely docile, “The hat.”

I find William absolutely hilarious. If I found him on the street I would probably keep him just of the entertainment value.

All your boys are great, but William cracks me up every time I see him!

"The hat." :D

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
