Getting ready to return

We have a little over one day left in Northern Indiana, and we’re going over the final packing of all our stuff. Tomorrow we have to run a couple of errands, and then spend a last few hours with the family before it’s time to start the trip to the airport. I’m not looking forward to navigating 8 suitcases and as many pieces of hand luggage across the globe, but I’m glad we’ve been able to get all the things we have so that we’ll have a few less worries in Cairo this upcoming year.

We still have nearly a week to enjoy with our friends in Boston, and then we return to Egypt. I’m getting ready to go back.

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
