I may be married to an, in this case, non-interested, ignorant American; I may be living in Belgium or Egypt, but I will never, for as long as I can help it, miss the Eurovision Song Contest and Terry Wogan's witty commentating on BBC.
Only a couple of weeks to go. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! And I don't care if the Swedish contestants sound like a donkey on a raft: Go Sweden!!

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

We LOVE Eurovision!!! Even went so far as to arrange a special meal on the night it is shown... last year was a shocker!
There are some weird and wonderful entries this year, for sure!
