Severe Internet problems in the Middle East and Egypt

Due to severe Internet failure throughout the Middle East, apparently caused by cable damage in the Mediterranean Sea, our Internet has not been working at all since Wednesday. As not to entirely loose contact with the outer world, we use a very, very slow wireless Internet connection provided by an unknowing neighbor, who should be commended for having chosen a different ISP rather than the cheaper Nile Online, which is what we use (or rather; not use, for the moment).

As ironic as it sounds, I’m currently sitting here waiting – I’ve waited a good five minutes – for a cnn.com article on severe Internet delays to load. Sigh.

Lovely Lady of La Leche, most loving mother of the Child Jesus, and my mother, listen to my humble prayer. Your motherly heart knows my every wish, my every need. To you only, His spotless Virgin Mother, has your Divine Son given to understand the sentiments which fill my soul. Yours was the sacred privilege of being the Mother of the Savior. Intercede with him now, my loving Mother, that, in accordance with His will, I may become the mother of other children of our heavenly Father. This I ask, O Lady of La Leche, in the Name of your Divine Son, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
